Why not get involved as a volunteer at the Plaza Cinema. We offer a number of opportunities for you to gain work based experience and skills, and above all you will be supporting the plaza & it's community programme.

As a volunteer, duties will cover Box Office, Kiosk & Ushering. Training and support will be given.

The 100 Club

Do you love cinema?

Are you a supporter of the Plaza Community Cinema, either as a regular visitor or someone who values and appreciates our contribution to the life of this community?
Would you like to help to ensure our future and win a cash prize at the same time?
If the answer is YES, we want to hear from you.

The trustees of the Plaza Community Cinema have set up a 100 CLUB. If you've never heard of this before, the idea is a simple but brilliant way of fundraising. Here's how it works:

Membership of the club costs £5 per month. With one hundred members that would generate funds of £500 per month of which some would be used to target specific fundraising needs, with the balance being used as prize money. As a member of the 100 club you could win one of three cash prizes each month.
With only 100 members you'll have a one in hundred chance of winning a prize and you'll know that the £5 you pay each month is being spent directly in your own Community.

How do I join the 100 Club?
Just fill in the attached tear- off slip at the bottom of this news sheet and return to Richard Warren, who will then post a standing order form for you to complete and send to your own bank. Once we have received confirmation from your bank, your Membership No. will be entered in future draws.

What happens when my membership has been accepted?
You will receive a membership card, noting your full name, address and your individual number. If that number is drawn, you win the designated prize.

When will the 100 club start?
The first draw will take place on Saturday September 2nd 2006, when we will ask a member of our Kidscreen to pick out the winning numbers.

Can I pay for more than one membership?
Yes. You can apply for more than one membership but would need to increase your donation accordingly.

If I win a prize, how will I be paid?
You'll be paid by cheque, which will be posted out to you, so do tell us if you change your address. The winning numbers will be shown on our Website and we will also identify the winning numbers in our weekly film news sheet.

What happens if I want to cancel my membership?
You must give us one month's notice, to cancel membership. Your number would then be reallocated from applications held on a waiting list.
